Hey Rob,
maybe a stupid question: How can I link to specific form without using "static url"? Is there a way of using "component item"?

Thanks a bunch,
Stefan

Hi Stephan,
Are you asking if you can create a menu link via Joomla?
Can you restate the question?

Thanks,

Hey Graylan,

probably I was bit unspecific. Look here http://www.moderndance-berlin.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=74

There are two forms linked in the left navigation. As soon as you click one of them the navigation disappeares. This is due to the fact that those links are of the type "static-url". The problem now is that they don't work with the extended menu.

If there was a possibilty to create a link to a "component item" the problem would be solved (I guess).

Hope you know what I mean.

Greets, Stefan

Hi Stefan,

While it's a possibility that I still don't understand correctly, you can set a link to a Joomla menu by going to your joomla administrator and select Component/Fabrik/Form. Then select the form in question and click the edit button. Choose the "Link to menu" tab, select a menu item from the list, enter a "Menu item name" and click the "Link to menu" button.

If you are using extended menu's you should be able to link to an extended menu in this fashion.

Let me know if I have not yet understood correctly and this does not help.

All the best,
