I'm just starting with Fabrik. I'm trying to add a simple "Contact Us" form (like the very nice video tutorial). I can sucessfully add a group, but when I try to use the "Add New Elements" form I get an error when trying to save or apply. The main window has an "Error On Page" message at the bottom. When I open the error the following appears in the IE Error window....
"Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly....."
Line : 274
Char: 1
Error: Object Expected
Code: 0
URL: http//spotlightondance.com/joomla/administrator/index2.php?option=com_fabrik&task=edit2Element&cid=0&hidemainmenu=1
Any suggestions appreciated!

Perhaps you could try it in a different browser? Firefox seems pretty stable, and I don't get any errors using that. Also some people have reported that there are problems with certain administrative templates besides the stock one that can cause problems.
What version of Fabrik are you using?

Tried Firefox, and the behavior is slightly different. The Apply and Save buttons do not appear to be active in the new elements page. I opened the Firefox Error console and there are a bunch of errors related to the page. It looks to me like there are a bunch of objects not available to the page for some reason.
For example....
Error: buildJavascript is not defined
Source File: http://spotlightondance.com/joomla/administrator/index2.php?option=com_fabrik&task=edit2Element&cid=0&hidemainmenu=1
Line: 1657
Error: buildValidations is not defined
Source File: http://spotlightondance.com/joomla/administrator/index2.php?option=com_fabrik&task=edit2Element&cid=0&hidemainmenu=1
Line: 1640
Error: elementJoin is not defined

Line: 1270

I also tried reinstalling Fabrik (after deinstalling) and this time, added the sample data. Interesting to note that when I try to edit one of the elements "first_name" for example, I get the same behavior. Unable to save or apply changes.

Strange, after a lot of trial and error I discovered that removing the JCE wysiwyg component solved the problem completely. I am now able to both edit and creat new elements in Fabrik.
Perhaps when I get some time I'll try to debug this one....
Thanks all.
