can only use "everyone" for pre-filter

Not sure if this is a bug, and I don't have any huge priority as the "everyone" access level for the prefilter is fine for me for now...

However, it might save someone else some time (I lost several hours last night trying to get the prefilter to work with "registered" as the access level)

The filter ACL works fine for me.

Are you sure you read the tooltip, which explains that "this is the level at which the filter is NOT applied". So if you want it to apply to Registered, you have to set select Author.
