Hi!
Feel free to download Fabrik element field plugin with "remove special chars" option before store to DB (integer & decimal).
Useful for any quantity and currencies fields which many users fill by copy-past action.
Supports Fabrik versions 3.9.2, 3.10.

Fabrik is open source and surely you are allowed to create own plugins.

But I think it is really no good idea to create plugins with the same name as existing Fabrik ones.
Additionally your xml doesn't mention that it is a modified copy, not provided by Fabrik.

Installing your field-plugin will override the Fabrik one, so changing every existing field element, mixing up Fabrik versions, mixing up updates etc etc

So PLEASE create own plugins with own, unique names, mentioning the original, mentioning you as an author, setting up correct xml file ...

@troester ,
Ok, I've got you.
But I only did some improvements into the original plugin. That's why I think no needs to rename it.

a) yeah, please don't publish modified plugins with the same name.

b) why not just add a PHP validation in 'replace' mode that does this to fields that need it? Achieves exactly the same thing, doesn't require modifying core code.

c) if you want to post a diff of your changes here, I'll consider folding it in to the main code.

Because I support the DB created on Fabrik with more than 500 different lists and ~30000 elements. So, it is better to me just toggle some options in the element settings. It saves my time and let me focus on other things.
F.e. I've created and improve Fabrik list plugin based on DataTables (+Ajax on lists with more than thousands records).

Ok, I'll post it and one for textarea element with readonly option.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
