textarea element and wysiwyg editor

I am using, or trying to use the wysiwyg editor (JCE) with a textarea element, it shows up as the text area and allows me to type and use the JCE features but when I save and open the list record no text that I just typed in the textarea is showing up, if I turn off the wysiwyg feature and use just a plain text area element it shows up and if in joomla I use "no editor" it will populate a list record, I have also tried using the default "tiny mce" editor instead of JCE and that also does not show the text typed in the form in the list record either...what am i missing?

Is it a normal form (no popup, form module...)?

Which Joomla template?

yes, 1s a no frills normal form, just the text area element, no pop-up, joins, nothing....didn't check the back end, will look, the template is afterburner from RT..very plain no extra mods or styling or anything, no recent git update

Check with error console or firebug in Firefox, it's probably a JS conflict somewhere.

according to Cheesegrits, this is a submit error from ajax in the older version of fabrik, there was an update made to the git hub regarding this issue.

I fixed an issue a few days ago where the WYSIWYG content wasn't being submitted during an AJAX submit, i.e. form an article content plugin, or from a popup form submit.
