email link for user element in list

Hi All,

I hope this is a no-brainer, but I just can't seem to figure it out or find the answer...

I have an element n a list that displays the users email from the user plug-in. I want to add a link to mail that user by clicking the address in the link. I have tried a sorts of custom link variations and cannot get any to work maybe because I need to involve rowid or maybe there is just and easier or better way to do this. For normal fields - there is the guess link option, but that is not there for these.

Any help appreciated!

A custom link
mailto:{your-full-userelementname}
should do.
A full element name has the syntax table___element (3 underscores).
