Inline edit treats merged rows in a repeatable groups inner join as one raw, wrong data saving

Hello, Community!

New issue with Inline Edit plugin.
Inline Edit treats merged rows in a repeatable groups inner join as one raw. So we can't directly edit values from separate rows. After clicking on this repeatable group, only one of them are editable and after saving all data, except rifts grouped row filed becomes NULL.

I think inline edit has its restrictions.

That's why I would use a list with ajaxfied links, which will open the normal form in a popup.

May be we should put some info about such restrictions in the Fabrik wiki?
Hugh, Rob is there any planes to make it works with the join lists?

If you look at the Inline Edit wiki page:

... you'll see the first paragraph clearly says it doesn't work with repeat data. We put that in several months ago, as I recall, when we first realized this was an issue.

Nope, currently no plans to resolve this, as it would require some major surgery to the code, and we're focusing all major coding effort on the ground up rewrite for f4.
