• Hello Fabrik Community

Fabrik is now in the hands of the development team that brought you Fabrik for Joomla 4. We have recently transitioned the Fabrik site over to a new server and are busy trying to clean it up. We have upgraded the site to Joomla 4 and are running the latest version of Fabrik 4. We have also upgraded the Xenforo forum software to the latest version. Many of the widgets you might have been used to on the forum are no longer operational, many abandoned by the developers. We hope to bring back some of the important ones as we have time.

    Exciting times to be sure.

The Fabrik 4.0 Official release is now available. In addition, the Fabrik codebase is now available in a public repository. See the notices about these in the announcements section

We wish to shout out a very big Thank You to all of you who have made donations. They have really helped. But we can always use more...wink..wink..

Also a big Thank You to those of you who have been assisting others in the forum. This takes a very big burden off of us as we work on bugs, the website and the future of Fabrik.

Hi, as the title says, I'm trying to get the cron job (gcalsync) triggered from frontend, with no luck.
From backend it perfectly works and the Google calendar is updated.
No error in log table.
My scheduled task setting page is attached

My site is installed locally with XAMPP. Joomla is 3.3.3 and Fabrik is 3.2

Thanks a lot

Your pdf doesn't show any colors (better upload a screenshot).
So 1st question:
is the plugin published?
2nd:
You didn't set a Gcal Login and a UserID element.
I never used this plugin but I think you have to set something (if you are starting the plugin manually in backend, Joomla/Fabrik "knows" who you are but a frontend trigger may come from anybody, guest or registered...)

1. the plugin is published
2. I removed the Gcal login only for doing the pdf, but is there, otherwise it wouldn't work even from backend.
About the UserID, it seems optional. Anyway, I even tried to put the logged user element in there, but nothing changes.

Why actually this is a cron plugin, not triggered just by opening the list and submitting or editing records?

Unfortunately not, in my case, at least.
Hitting "Run" from backend it works, but apparently no frontend action triggers this plugin.

Check in Extension/PluginManager if the "System - Fabrik Scheduled Tasks " plugin is intalled and enabled.

Hi troester,
this plugin is not installed at all. I recently updated from github and apparently it is not in the downloaded package (3.2)

System - Fabrik Scheduled Tasks
is definitivly in the fabrik-joomla3.zip and can be discovered (I just tested).

If you can't see it check if your installation contains the folder
\plugins\system\fabrikcron
(If not you have to repeat the GitHub update)

Hi troester, it's working now. I repeated the update and it's ok. I probably did a bit of mess with the discover/install/enable process, before.

Thanks for your time

Cheers
