Fabrik Notes

I have some issues with the notes element.

1. When I set the "User" parameter I get no results returned back to me although it does store the user ID in the field I have chosen. If I don use the "User" parameter and set a field in the table to a "user" element, it doesnt store the value either.

So, I cannot currently store who added the note whilst allowing the users to see them.

2. When the note is saved to the database, something is stripping the spaces out. This means my notes become garbage after I save them. This renders the control useless.

3. I would like to be able to show the "date_time" field as part of the display label rather than only been able to show 1 label of my choice.

Any ideas how I can overcome these issues?

Agreed on the date/time. Also the userid field should be rendered next to the note.

I've added date handling to the plugin, so you can now specify a date element to use and the date format.

Also moved the formatting of the note rows in to the layout file, so you can override with your own format if you want.

How is that accomplished? Want to add the date next to the user when displayed in form/details.

Are you sure you updated everything?

And you set a date element and format in the settings?

Got it. The github update must have removed my date field choice in the notes plugin. Working...thanks!
