• Hello Fabrik Community

Fabrik is now in the hands of the development team that brought you Fabrik for Joomla 4. We have recently transitioned the Fabrik site over to a new server and are busy trying to clean it up. We have upgraded the site to Joomla 4 and are running the latest version of Fabrik 4. We have also upgraded the Xenforo forum software to the latest version. Many of the widgets you might have been used to on the forum are no longer operational, many abandoned by the developers. We hope to bring back some of the important ones as we have time.

    Exciting times to be sure.

The Fabrik 4.0 Official release is now available. In addition, the Fabrik codebase is now available in a public repository. See the notices about these in the announcements section

We wish to shout out a very big Thank You to all of you who have made donations. They have really helped. But we can always use more...wink..wink..

Also a big Thank You to those of you who have been assisting others in the forum. This takes a very big burden off of us as we work on bugs, the website and the future of Fabrik.

Run Paypal plugin after inline edit

Hi,
I have email and paypal form plugins.
In my form i have a radioelement I may change inline in list view.
When it changes email plugin is triggered and email send, but paypal no.
How to trigger paypal plugin after inline form edit?

I'm pretty sure the PayPal plugin wouldn't work from from the list's inline edit plugin.

And unfortunately, as per the wiki:

http://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?wiki/inline-edit-list-plugin/

NOTE - this plugin is provided "as-is", and we will not be doing any more development or bug fixing of it in the 3.x versions of Fabrik. Please test the functionality you need, before committing any app design to rely on using it. It works for simple use cases, but may not work as expected for "complex" usage, involving menu pre-filtering, element ACL's, joins (as mentioned above), etc.

Ok.
And how to trigger paypal plugin from list view, without reopen and resend form?
Any suggestion?

Why not reopen and resend the form?
You can set list links to be ajaxfied, this will open the form in a popup (similar to inline edit where you would edit and save, too).

How to open just a part of the form, like particular group?
For example group3, which has only 2 elements.

I think you'd have to copy your List, so it creates a new set of List / Form / Groups / Elements, modify that to hide the groups you don't want, then use a custom edit link on the original list (undet the List's Links settings) to point to the view=form URL for form copy (i.e. with a different formid).

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
