Get placeholder data from a related table

Hi the team

I would fill a field with another field from a table related to the Joomla user table. I would get the data from the connected user, but not from the Joomla user table.

Placeholders like {xxx___xxx} or the way {$my->xxx} do not run...

Is it possible ?

I have also tried by updating the field after form submission, but without success...

Hi

It is OK, I have done otherwise, adding my fields directly in the Joomla users table, and adding field object in libraries/joomla/user/user.php.

Now I can call my field in the data session ($my->MyCustomField).
