Link open in new window (fileupload element)

Greetings.
How do to a link in the list view open in a new window?
I click a link from the field fileupload and opens in the same window...

Are you talking about the generic 'detail link' on elements? Or the 'link to file' specific to the upload element?

In the list (on my site) fileupload is represented by a thumbnail. I want to click the thumbnail and open in a new window.
I use this field to store pdf files, not pictures.

Hi,

I ran into the same issue. Link Target: New Window doesn't work for uploaded PDF files.
Is there a solution?

Set a "real" custom details link {your-fileupload-element}

I did the custom details link but it is also opening the file in same window.

I was also looking for such thing.Is there any place where we can write Link Target: New Window for any kind of file.

Hi, I want to do the same thing, my files are in a group:

and when I click to the link I want to open it in a new tab are in a new window, I can't find out how to do that.
