Detail View _blank

Is there a way to set the view option for a list to open a new window/tab (_blank) in place of the same window?

I have a list that opens a custom page that I would like to have open in it's own window/tab.

Bump....I looked in the List template to see how I can add the target="_blank" for the detail view but was not sure where the detail view link was created.

Just checked the PR ... seems to be missing the new language strings.

Do you want me to merge that PR and you submit a second one with the language additions, or do you want to modify that PR?

The code gives me a blank page when I go into the list option in the backend.

This also breaks the lists on the front end.

Did you update from GitHub or add manually?
GitHub is working on my site.
I've added the GB language strings.

The option is in element's list view settings.

LOL! You beat me to it, by about 10 seconds. I'd added the language.

I need to make two small changes tho (make it a dropdown rather than radio, and add the option strings as language).

Suggest you do a full github update.

In element settings, "List view", where you define your custom link to details.

I think I understand. This is a setting in the Link element. This is not what I was asking for. I need to be able to set the Details Link in the List to open in a new window/tab. I attached a screen shot.

Also, the changes to the Element "Link" has issues. Screenshot attached.

OK, I fixed the language on the Link element, and added "Detail Link Target" as an option on the list.

Oops, I'll fix that when I get back to my computer.

BTW, the change Troester made wasn't on the Link element, it was in the List settings on all elements.
