Is placeholder suppose to keep formating ?

Hi,

I have a calc element producing a computed price formated this way : "%.2f €". On forms, details and list views I get things like "123.00 ?". But if i use it in an article (form email plugin using article template), I get the raw "123" in the mail instead of the expected formated number.

Is this expected ? Should I formate it directly inside the calc formula ?
