Problem with csv export encoding

Hello I have the same problem with csv export as I had with pdf export. The problem is with exporting. Is there any soution to this. Any encoding I have tested I get symbols instead of characters. My data is in Greek language. Any solutions please? Thanks in advance

If your DB is UTF8 and you are doing a standard csv export (not ExcelCSV) there should be no problem.
If you are doing ExcelCSV there are encoding options in list settings (Publishing/CSV)

My database collation is utf8_unicode_ci. And I choose excel csv because my csv is for excel edit purposes. As for the csv publishing encoding options I have tested them all with no success.

Hi

I have the same problem with .csv encoding.
I use UTF8_General_ci in my db.
My app having Greek characters inside.
I have tried all possible encoding but none shows the Greek characters correctly in Excel.
Any idea?
