Hello,

A calc element, is editable in a form?

When you use a form calculates the value I want but always displayed as read-only.

Thank you.

A calc element is not editable, it's calculating from other elements.
In a new record you can calculate an editable default value (set eval=yes and put your code into the default field).

Hello,
I've tried an item such as " element Field" but not working. The field on the form shows nothing.

You can see a simple example.
Example:

predetermined:
$name = 'paco';
return $name;

Eval=Yes

The plugins for php are active.

Am i doing something wrong?

After much testing and change it in "Menu Form"
in the "Fabrik Form Options" tab

1. If not indicated anything in "row ID" and the "Key Name", it would be like adding new records, then it shows the default.
2. If I indicated the "row ID" and the "Key Name", edit the registry with the empty fields but does not display the default value.(Attached image)

Any idea, no longer think of anything else to do to show the default of that field.

I can't replicate.
Defaults are applied (eval or not) also with rowid=-1 and usekey=user-element

Are you trying to set the default of your user element? This won't do this way.
The user-element (user_id in your case) must contain the Joomla user id, use a "user" element or set the default to
{$my->id}
(no eval)

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
