Timeline Visualization: Order datasets

Hi there

Using the timeline visualisation plugin I noted that the datasets are shown in the order they are in the database.

I would wish to be able to order them according to a date field that is in the list. I tried to hard code it into the plugin but have difficulties finding the right place. Can somebody help me?

I don't know if the timeline viz plugin is up-to-date.
It seems it's always ordering by start_date descending.

I haven't touched the timeline plugin for years, as nobody ever used it. If I come across a need for it in one of my projects, or someone wants to fund it, I'll put some work into it.

Seems to me that it' sorting start_date ascending.
Can you point me to the right file to switch this? I seem to have some troubles to find the right one...

@cheesgirls: Could you give me some sort of a quote for putting some work into it? I plan to use the plugin as a sort of a gant chart for a small project management system I'm developing with Fabrik.
