QR Scanning field element

There is a new update and i saw something which caught my attention

"QR Scanning field element"

Where can i find this ?

Also it has been a long time i had not done an update

Can someone refresh me if this is correct ;
Download this https://github.com/Fabrik/fabrik/archive/master.zip
Unzip the all the downloaded files to www

Did you update from Github?

I had download the master.zip from Github and upload to the www , now in the field element i can see the new features of the QR Code . But i have one issue , not sure why Joomla is still prompting me to update Fabrik saying that it is still 3.9 instead of 3.9.1

In GitHub the new release number has not been added, so it's still showing 3.9 at the moment (even if you have done the "post-Github steps").

So anyway to resolve this ? How do i know if the number in GitHub will be updated with the new release number , it is safe to do the update now ?

At the moment the new official release is "newer" (in the sense of version number, the code should be identical).

You can run the Joomla update but I would just wait for a day or so.
