Hello!
The question arose whether it is possible to use the list as a look-up table, not like in the “databasejoin”, but in a modal window with filters by fields or something like that?

What do you want to achieve? Filter a list?
You can enable list filters in list settings and elemenet settings
You can create a search form (with redirect plugin to filter a list with data of this form)

Need to insert data from one list to another. But the drop-down list is "databasejoin" not suitable for a large number of rows.
