Best templates to use with Fabrik

Fabrik looks great in protostar, but whenever I switch to any other template, it seems to cause lots of chaos and general yuckiness (thats's the technical term) in the way Fabrik content gets displayed. I have been trying to work with Helix Ultimate, and I've added a number of CSS overrides to compensate for various issues, but the issues just keep popping up and I'd rather not keep chasing them.

Is Protostar the only practical template choice for fabrik? Is there something else I can do to make Helix + Fabrik work better? Thanks!

I also use Helix Ultimate for all my sites which, as you say, doesn’t play well with Fabrik. So I use Gantry 5 (Helium theme) for my Fabrik pages. It’s a little different to Helix but you can make the pages look almost identical with a bit of work. And Fabrik looks great on Gantry!

Yes, Gantry based templates seem to play well with Fabrik. As I know, Fabrik developers use (or at least used some time ago) Gantry with their own customer's projects.

For historical reasons I mostly use Helix-based templates with heavily modified Fabrik templates. So Helix also works pretty well, just a bit more modifications needed for Fabrik.

GAntry 5 Prometheus works fine for me. Did not try other templates.

For my part I am testing Purity 3 and it works well
