Advanced Search - Front/Back End Differences

I am just starting to use Fabrik and wish I had known about it about 6 years ago!

The problem I came here to describe needs visuals, which I cannot include without having some posts under my belt, so here is a problem I don't really need pictures to describe.

Advanced search in the front and back ends for a given list don't include the same elements. The front end search has all the ones I designated for inclusion, but the back end does not. I have no idea what is different about the elements being omitted in the back end, but I'd sure like to be able to use Advanced search there.

Any known fix?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, but I don't know if it's relevant.

Code:
[Deprecation] Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.

Now that I have some status, I can include some screenshots.

The two element lists I get (for the same list) are as follows. Shouldn't these be the same?

Front end:

Back end:

Thanks again.

Here's something interesting. I just enabled the Add button in the front end and the same elements missing in the back end advanced search list are also not editable in the front end Add form. Only in the Add form; those elements are editable for all existing records. Very weird, but maybe this new information helps?

Edit: Figured it out. It's always a permissions thing, isn't it? All the elements that were not showing up in the back end Advanced Search and front end Add form had permission for add set to Guest. That'll do it, I suppose. ;-)

Good thing I decided to enable the Add button, though the connection between that and back end Advanced Search is a bit non-intuitive.
