after save stay in the form

starting from a form, after saving, I would like to stay with the populated fields of the form.

from the option of the form of the menu item, which invokes the form, I have entered the value -2 in the ID of the LINE

However, after saving the form, it does not work properly.
How should I set up?

Did you try the "Apply" button?
I never used rowid=-2 ("...load the last inserted record..."), not sure how this is working with Save (usually going to where you come from) or Apply (stay where you are)
