1. Hugh is (technically) on vacation for the rest of September, travelling to Europe for his son's wedding in England, and to meet up with Rob in La Rochelle, France. He will be checking the forums most days, and providing some support, but his time will be limited, and he will be unable to do any custom coding work. Apologies in advance for any inconvenience.

Bug (?) when renaming a field that's the label of a cascading dropdown

If you have a field called ffff in a table called tttt that's been designated as the label of a cascading dropdown, and you rename the field to gggg, when you try to display the table you get an error message "unknown column tttt.ffff..."

As far as I can tell, this is because the attribute "join-label=ffff" in the attribs column of the jos_fabrik_joins table doesn't get updated when you rename the field.

Editing the label to gggg fixes the problem.

I do appreciate that automatically identifying all incoming joins and updating their attributes might be a bit heavy. Maybe a warning in the manual...
