@troester - do you think it's work changing the final layout and putting the frontEndSelect and description in divs with class names, so they can be styled without needing an override?
I seem to recall I added that layout in a hurry one day when working on a client site, and always kind of intended to go back and improve it. The brs were just there to make it work that day.
