connection to oracle database

in fabrik, is it possible to create a connection to a oracle database in a different server than a localhost?

We don't support Oracle. Although technically J! has an Oracle driver, it's really not supported or used. Here's a year old Pull Request with the changes required just to get the existing Oracle driver working with PHP 7 ...

... and work seems to have stalled on that.

Even if the drivers worked properly, Fabrik doesn't support anything but MySQL, as we have quite a lot of queires which are built outside the J! query builder interface, just using text queries, and I know a number of those are MySQL specific.
