DS: Directory Separator

First, thanks for the new release!

In the development of the J1.6 core, they made an effort to eliminate the use for the directory separator "DS" (see http://groups.google.com/group/joomlabugsquad/browse_thread/thread/5457016286a9a9e0). I see though that they didn't completely achieve that aim.

Are you planning to do the same in Fabrik?

If and when they add the branch to the trunk then I might look at it, but its not a priority for the moment. Seems like they are still trying to figure out when PHP does or doesn't convert the /\'s

The premise for DS removal was that PHP will auto-convert any / to the
appropiate ds for that os on which it is operating. So far we've seen
mixed results ergo round 2, but overall this seems to be a valid
statement. There are times where it seems php gets confused but we've
not pinned down the trigger yet, unless Matt has.
