Element as link to K2 item

What is the most suitable way to just retrieve the value of an element and make it link to a K2 item (assuming the url is known)? What Plug-in do I have to select, the "calc", the "link" or the "internalid"?

What does the link actually look like? I don't have K2 loaded. But I presume you have an element in your form that you need to include the value of in the URL.

I had the "calc" in mind because I have to use some conditions so as to pass the right link based on the value of the element. However, I will not inlcude that value in the url, I will just use it so as to decide what url to append.

OK, then yes. Calc.

If you do database lookups in it, then make sure to set "Calc on save only" to yes. If set to no, then we re-calc during list display, which can hurt performance by doing that database lookup for every displayed row.
