Hello, I'm a new user and learning quickly. I'm using the slider element and want to update the appearance. Can you direct me to options or alternative? where do i go for documentation on either styles or other ways to get this done? Thanks,

There's not much you can do with the slider as-is.

I'm working on a replacement, using the jQuery UI slider widget, which will be much more customizable.
