• Hello Fabrik Community

Fabrik is now in the hands of the development team that brought you Fabrik for Joomla 4. We have recently transitioned the Fabrik site over to a new server and are busy trying to clean it up. We have upgraded the site to Joomla 4 and are running the latest version of Fabrik 4. We have also upgraded the Xenforo forum software to the latest version. Many of the widgets you might have been used to on the forum are no longer operational, many abandoned by the developers. We hope to bring back some of the important ones as we have time.

    Exciting times to be sure.

The Fabrik 4.0 Official release is now available. In addition, the Fabrik codebase is now available in a public repository. See the notices about these in the announcements section

We wish to shout out a very big Thank You to all of you who have made donations. They have really helped. But we can always use more...wink..wink..

Also a big Thank You to those of you who have been assisting others in the forum. This takes a very big burden off of us as we work on bugs, the website and the future of Fabrik.

Export to CSV - You are not authorised to view this resource

Hi,
Hope you can help. This took me me quite some time to figure out this far.

Fresh install J!373 and F37 (from this site no github since it's just released)

Created a list with just an ID and Date-time and added 4 records.

List settings 'Publishing':
LIST > Publishing > CSV > Frontend export = Special
List settings 'Access':
View list / View records / Edit = SPECIAL
Add records = PUBLIC
Delete records =SPECIAL
Empty records =SPECIAL

When I go to the listview and do 'Export CSV' the little popup in fabrik shows 'CSV export complete - Download here' . But when I click that I get a white screen saying: You are not authorised to view this resource (this is the url, not administrator in it... not sure if that means anything, http://localhost:8888/Joomla_3.7.3-...w=list&format=csv&listid=1&start=100&Itemid=0)

If I change the List Access Settings View list to PUBLIC (instead of SPECIAL) I am able to download the CSV. But of course I don't want the list to be publicly viewable. Besides that, in my live site there are a few hundred records with more elements. It's not giving the CSV but again a white screen with this message:
{"total":"532","count":200,"file":"{fab_conference_registrations-export.csv","limitStart":100,"limitLength":100}

So I also have no idea what's happening here. I'm pretty sure this was working in the previous J! & F versions.

"not administrator in it."
Are you working in the backend?
Is it the same if logged in frontend?

Edit:
yes, confirmed
If you are exporting in the backend (with your list access settings) you'll get this message.

It's ok if you are working in the frontend or
if any user with list access is logged in in the frontend

Yes it's all in the backend where i need this to work. I didn't check how it works in the frontend myself.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
