Fabrik 3.1 use of Mootools

I notice that Fabrik is still using Mootools. With Joomla 3 Mootools has been deprecated in favour of jQuery (though it is still there fore compatibility).

Are there any plans to replace use of Mootools with jQuery before Fabrik 3.1 exits beta?

Answer is 'no'.

1. Too complicated to achieve. To much Mootools code, some of which does not have equivalent jQuery functionality.

2. Mootools will be supported as parallel js functionality for quite a while yet.

Just for anyone who migh have some mootools vs. jquery conflict: there are several jQuery plugins in the Joomla JED.
The one i use is called jQuery easy.
Here i am able to tell the plugin that it should not load jQuery at certain pages.

So if you plan to use some jQuery plugins that might collide with any Mootool function using one of these plugins might
be of help.
