Fileupload and validation

Hi,

I have a fileupload field (no Ajax) and some validations exist in other fields in the same form.
When any validation fails the file selection did by the user befoe the submit is cleared and the user needs to re-select again.
Is it normal behaviour?

Yes thanks. I saw it.
However I cannot use Ajax as I use some php code to rename the file and that function doesn't work with Ajax :-(

You could use a PHP form plugin for the renaming. Bit more hassle but possible.
