fileupload not working

Hi,
I recently installed fabrik v3.0.6 on joomla 2.5. I am trying to upload an image file thought a form, but it just doesn't seem to work. when I use ajax, nothing happens when I click the upload button, and when I use the regular method, the image is not uploaded, the rest of the information is stored fine.
The fileupload plugin is up and running.

Any idea where I went wrong ?

Thank you

Hi, I am having the same problem. I have searched and searched for an answer and not found a solution. Also I have tried to change permissions settings for the directory I am uploading documents into and this didn't help either. Someone there at Fabrikar please respond to this post!

Please post a screenshot of your plugin settings. Not sure if I can help but that will be one of the first questions anyways. Are you getting any JS errors on the page?

Hmm, I actually meant the fabrik plugin settings.

Sorry, I need to go offline now but here the settings that I use on my site that is working for me. Also, here is the link to the wiki if you haven't seen it already: http://fabrikar.com/wiki/index.php/File_upload

Hope it helps.

same problem here . Joomla2.5 , Latest fabric 3.0 . When the form is submitted , all i see is a blank screen.

Ok I got it working now .
First I updated only the file upload plugin from Github , but it didn't work .
So did a complete update of fabrik installation folder from Github.(I mean every folder and file) - The file upload started working fine .

doesn't works from scratch

Hi all

I'm new on J! and F! :(

unfortunatelly doesn't work for me :(

I've:
1. dowloaded last J!2.5.8
2. dowloaded last F!3 and installed
3. updated with last update from GitHUB
4. created a new list
5. added an upload element
6. set download directory to "/images/"
7. created an article with default setting
8. added "{fabrik view=form id=1}" into article

if I add an entry using the List panel, it works fine. If I try to add entry uning the article showed and its form, the file is not loaded.

Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot!

Still not works

Hi team

I'm new on J! and on F3!

Sorry, but still do not works. Below some info.
I've installed:
1. Joomla_2.5.8-Stable-Full_Package.zip
2. Fabrik-fabrik-3.0.6.3-563-g3139ddf.zip

I've upgrated with Fabrik-fabrik-3.0.6.3-563-g3139ddf.zip

I've created an List with one fileupload element.
I've set the download dir to "images/files/"
I've create a new article and I've set "{fabrik view=form id=1}"

I've always applied default setting.

The form works on back-end (Components->Fabrik->List->View Data) by using "Add".
It doesn't works on front-end (Site Home page).:(:(:(:(

Any suggestions?

Best Regards

There's an issue with standard file upload and content plugin.
The ajax file upload is working.

The issue being that we automatically submit forms from content plugins using AJAX, and "normal" uploads just don't work via AJAX.

We need to consider allowing that behavior to be overridden, so you can elect to have content plugin forms submitted with a standard POST and page reload.

I too have the same similar problem.

Fabrik fileupload plugin does not work, this is a response on chrome console:

500 (Internal Server Error) /plugins/fabrik_element/fileupload/lib/plupload/js/plupload.html5.min.js: 1
Error: [object Object] /media/com_fabrik/js/mootools-ext-min.js: 1

I have:

-J! 2.5.8
-F-last! 3
-updated with last update from github to 3.0.7 (For Fabrik 3.0.x for Joomla 2.5)

help, I do not know what to do ....
