Filter jdate element by day instead of full date

Hey, I got many dates stored in a database, like full dates (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS), I would like to be able to filter the list just by the day and have all the data that shares that date regardless of time appear.

I haven't figured out how, could you give me a hand?

Did you try to set the list format without a time part?

Yes, it removes the time part, but doesn't combine them, so it's filled with duplicated dates

So you want additionally to "group by"?

I think then you must add an element storing the date only (calc or set in a php plugin) and use this in list view.

Or - if you don't need the time at all - set time selector=no for the form format (which should then store YYYY-MM-DD 00:00:00)
