Front end select and SEF

Hello,

On an intranet site the front end select on a databasejoin works well if in the site configuration SEF URLs is OFF but no longer works if SEF URLs is ON.
Is this normal?

Yes, totally normal.

Well, it's the new normal. J! made some radical changes to the J! SEF router in 3.7 and some more in 3.8 which are causing issues with anything we generate for use in AJAX. I'm gradually working through the problematic links.
