I have a Form that has some input boxes and lots of text.
How do I configure the text to cover the full width of the form?

You can put the text into form or group intro.
You can use a display element in a group set to Labels above.
You can add custom CSS...

I put the text in a Group intro and an input box but I?m not smart enough to add a second Group. Custom CSS seems to be the way to go. I think I could do the CSS but I?m not sure where to put it.
The form will have lots of text intermingled with several input boxes. It is something similar to an employee handbook that needs a signature in several places.

Adding a group isn't that hard. Go to the Groups tab, add a new group, assign it to your form. Go to Elements, edit the ones you want to move to it, and select the new Group for them.

Does Fabric have something I can use to store lots of text in the database? I need it formatted. It will be a document where a logged in user will read and fill in some data. Then if possible it needs to be printed as a PDF. I need all the text to stay with the form and get entered into the db. Groups work great but the text does not get saved.
And can the user element be a text box and not a dropdown.

No, it's a FK to the Joomla users table, not just "text".
