Hi Cheesegrits and Troester.

Thanks a lot for your investigations.
I came in touch with "Attracta", the software provider of the piece of code which seems to prevent the correct usage of the fileupload plugin code.

I copy his answer hereunder as information to those may have the same issue with the "Attracta" code.
I've noticed that your web application is on a server running an older version of our software that may conflict with some AJAX requests like the one provided in your debug report. To fix this issue, you will need to delete the .fastinclude file from the 'web root' (document root) of your website. To delete this file:
1. Log into your cPanel account
2. Navigate to 'File Manager'
3. Choose the 'Web Root (public_html/www)' option and ensure 'Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)' is ticked.
4. Click Go
5. Select the public_html folder on the left
6. Select the file named '.fastinclude' and click Delete
After deleting this file, the javascript will be removed instantly. I'll make sure we are in touch with HostPapa to get the software upgraded on your server as newer versions of our software have improvements in them to prevent conflicts with other AJAX based software like Joomla.
After execution of this procedure and cache clearance the fileupload plugin is working fine.
