How to sum the values of an element in a repeating group?

Hello there,

I have a form with two groups; A and B.

Group A is a repeating group and has three elements:

1. Price per Item
2. Number of Items
3. Total Cost

Group B has one element:

• Total Budget: This element is a Calc plugin and SHOULD be equal to all of the Total Cost elements values from the Group A (Calculation also SHOULD be done using AJAX to make sure any changes gets reflected in this element in form view; ie: before submitting the form!)

Problem is that the Total Budget element ONLY gets the value of the first group of the Total Cost element, but not the summation of all the values.

Appreciate any help with this.

Did you get anywhere with this?

Noticed no-one has yet offered any pointers on how to do this. Have spent the last 2 hours trying to find a solution but not getting anywhere.

Does this have to be done with javascript or can it be done within the calc element itself?
