'Install path does not exist Package Install'

hello,

in joomla > extensions manager, i tried to do a fresh install from:

http://www.mysitename.com/pkg_fabrik_3.0.3.zip

(this is the package downloaded from http://fabrikar.com/downloads)

and got the error:

Install path does not exist
Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: mod_fabrik_form_3.0.2.zip
Error installing package

can anyone tell me why this happened and how i can fix it?

update: i just tried to install via uploading in the extenions manager and got the same error message.

i think it is pkg_fabrik_3.0.3/pkg_fabrik.xml.

all references are to 3.0.2.

not a confirmed solution yet but find and replace all instances of 3.0.2 to 3.0.3 in pkg_fabrik_3.0.3/pkg_fabrik.xml.

and not sure if this has to be edited in the xml file or not?

<install type="package" version="1.6">

and in:

plg_fabrik_element_dropdown_3.0.3

"the xml is looking for: <filename>dropdown-mins.js</filename> but the actual file name is <filename>dropdown-min.js</filename>" thanks to @sgorney.

with above changes, installing in joomla 2.5:

Installing package was successful.

Yeah, there's a couple of teething problems with the 3.0.3 ZIP. We should have it all sorted by the end of today.
