1. Hugh (cheesegrits) here. Thank you for all the good wishes. My back surgery was a success, post-op recovery is going well, and I'm getting stronger and feeling better every day. I hope to be getting back in the saddle and working support again over the next few days.
  2. IMPORTANT NOTE - we have made some changes in our github branch naming. The 'master' branch no longer exists, and is now called 'joomla25' (which is Fabrik 3.0). The 'joomla3' branch (which is Fabrik 3.2) remains unchanged. We have also removed all the other testing branches which had accuulated over the last few years. I have posted a thread in the Community forum for 3.0 with some more information, feel free to as questions there.

    Hi,
where are the messages about latest SVN gone? The SVN unfuddle sidebar that is displayed under thread views (why not elsewhere?) still shows 5290 as last revision.

Yeah, I'm trying to fix it in my "copious spare time".

The problem is that the Unfuddle API uses the REST approach, which is great for some things, but not so great for getting incremental change info.

So each time I want to update the SVN changesets info here, I have to fetch ALL the changesets from Unfuddle through their REST API.

Which now takes so long, that MySQL goes away underneath my cron job inside vBulletin. And I can't up the MySQL session timeout, because then we run into big resource problems because of the hundreds concurrent connections we get from search engine spiders (I just looked, and between them, Yahoo, MSN and Google currently have a total of 236 open connections to us).

The only real solution is for me to de-couple the code that updates our local tables, and run it as a standalone cron job from UNIX.

    But I'm a little short on time ... :(
