Multiple list filters

Hi guys,

When I add dropdown filters for a list they are stacked vertically which is not very user friendly. I.e. if I add 3 filters I get:
[Filter 1]
[Filter 2]
[Filter 3]

What I would like is:

[Filter 1] [Filter 2] [Filter 3]

Can this be accomplished with template modification or some other methods? Any ideas where to start looking?

You'd have to override the layout:

components/com_fabrik/layouts/list/fabrik-filters.php

... wee wiki for overriding layouts in your site template.

I did start work a while back on allowing multiple columns for filters, as you can see in the layout, but never finished it.

The only built in alternative is to use the 'filters under headings' option.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Don't know why I didn't see it before!

One question: When using the popup filter, it opens up very wide, but is responsive which is great. Is there any way to specify the maximum width of the window? In my browser the window is about 1500 pixels wide even though the widest drop down only extends about 200 pixels.

Hi Hugh,

Is there a way to switch between under-header filter and pop-up filter on the front end somehow? I could see some customers might want to use one in some cases and the other in other cases. Any ideas?
