New ACL breaks canEdit list plugin

Thank you! Functionally your plugin change works however, after submission you still get the Informational message "Sorry, but you are not authorised to edit this record". Not really a big deal, just a bit strange.

I can't replicate that.

Are you trying to reload the same form (or doing an "Apply")?

My test case is editing from a list, with no redirect, so it returns to the list after submission.

OK, well, that's why. When doing an apply, the implicit redirect is back to the form view. Which is now, as the message said, not authorized. So I would expect it to show that message.

I'm assuming here that this only happens when the user has set the element that controls access to a value which denies them access.

That was my suspicion, not really a big deal. More of a training thing, to my client, that tells them that the record is locked and now can't be edited. I can easily spin this message into a positive thing.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
