Ordering in list

In a list I'm using the order plug-in function and everything works.
Unfortunately, this function can not be used on tablets and smartphones.
Is there a possibility to order the recond of the list in another way?
For example, adding buttons that move records up or down?

Hmm, I've never tried the ordering plugin on a mobile device.

I'll take a look, see if it's an easy fix.

Nope, not an easy fix. I even looked at converting to using the standard jQuery UI 'sortable' plugin, but even that doesn't work on mobile without adding a third party modification (which seems to have issues with IE10).

I'll keep looking for options.
