Plug-in Image Details view shows Image not the LINK

I created a element that uses the Plug-in: Image, the element data is not an image but a link to an image like this:

So that it shows in the list view I added to "Renders an Image" the element http link :

Image: {flag___myflag}

This works great when the user views the list, they see the flag, not the http png link.

The issue is when they edit the row, in the DETAILS view they still see the image. I want to allow them to edit the HTTP link.

Any ideas?
