Rating element not editable in form

Hello all.
I'm trying to make a biz review form submission that looks similar to Google reviews with the 5 stars and comment box. I thought the Rating element would work for this task; but it appears to not be editable within a form. I can only edit it in a list or in details. Is there any way to make it editable in a form as well? If so, how?

Did you enable the "Rate in form" option?

Note that even with that enabled, when creating a new form, it will only be available for "creator" rating (not "user" rating).

Is there any way to hid the average rating #? I just need the stars.

You could either override this layout ...

plugins/fabrik_element/rating/layouts/fabrik-element-rating-list.php

... see wiki for where to put the override file.

Or you could add some custom CSS in your list template to hide the 'ratingScore' class.

Another question, how do I make 5 stars the default (versus no stars)?

Good question. The answer was you can't.

So I added it in this commit:

NOTE that it will only work in "Creator" rating mode. Because defaults are only applied on new records, and a ratig can only be set when creating a new record in "creator" mode.
