• Hello Fabrik Community

Fabrik is now in the hands of the development team that brought you Fabrik for Joomla 4. We have recently transitioned the Fabrik site over to a new server and are busy trying to clean it up. We have upgraded the site to Joomla 4 and are running the latest version of Fabrik 4. We have also upgraded the Xenforo forum software to the latest version. Many of the widgets you might have been used to on the forum are no longer operational, many abandoned by the developers. We hope to bring back some of the important ones as we have time.

    Exciting times to be sure.

The Fabrik 4.0 Official release is now available. In addition, the Fabrik codebase is now available in a public repository. See the notices about these in the announcements section

We wish to shout out a very big Thank You to all of you who have made donations. They have really helped. But we can always use more...wink..wink..

Also a big Thank You to those of you who have been assisting others in the forum. This takes a very big burden off of us as we work on bugs, the website and the future of Fabrik.

SOLVED: Content plugin not working in form view

Hi,

Needed to simply embed a list to a form. I have added {fabrik view=list id=xx} to group intro (tried also outro). It works in detail view, but not in form view. In form view it renders the intro and outro (I have entered additional data after content plugin tag), but the list does not display.

Tested also with Prostar and default Bootstrap form template.

This is with latest Joomla and Github from a week ago, but the problem also occurs with Joomla / Fabrik from the first half of last year.

Do you have any hints what could be the problem?

Thanks!

It's working on my site.
But with a list embedded in group intro/outro you will break your form if you don't use a heavily adapted custom list template without <form tag, list actions etc.

Thanks Troester! That is really strange. Have gone through all the possible thing that could affect this with no results. Will try to troubleshoot some more although running out of ideas.

Yes, probably. But I think I can handle this with a custom template...hopefully :)

Damn, in form setting the "Process Joomla plugins" option was set to "Details only". Had never noticed and needed to touch that setting before. Sorry for the confusion.

I meant it was set to "details only" before. So I changed it to "detail and form view".

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
