Sometimes a placeholder on a Form label doesn't work

Hi,

I put a placeholder in the label field of my forms :

It works most of the time:

DETAIL view:

But sometimes it doesn't work for the FORM view, depending on the group of the user connected:

I don't see the link with the user connected, everyone can see the title of the form.
Any idea is welcome :)

Thanks

To be honest, I've never tried using placeholders in a form label, had no idea that would work at all. :)

Hi Hugh,

:) when it works (most of the time) it's great.

Yes there's an ACL on this field. On this screen ( Edition) :

the connected user has only 'view' rights on this field.

I'm pretty sure it's on new records where the placeholder is not replaced.
I didn't test now but I think I have this, too, somewhere.

To Hugh: If I give my user an 'Edit' right, the placeholder is replaced by a value (D?bordement tabouret all?e 11 in that case)

To troester: on a new record the placeholder is not replace by a value, but it seems normal as there is no value to replace it. But in my case there is a value, as Hugh point it out, it depends on the ACL. But logicaly ( I think), even if a user doesn't have an 'Edit' right on a value, the placeholder should be replaced because he has the 'view' right ( that's why on the previous picture we can see 'D?bordement tabouret all?e 11' under 'DESCRIPTION').
Hope I'm clear :)

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
