Table Grouping

Hi friends,
I've actived, on a list, the option Group BY, as in your tutorial TABLE GROUPING. In my case the grouping name appears AFTER the header row and not before, as it should be (as your case). See the attached image.

Is a question of list template?

Thank you.
Bye,

Roberto

Hi Hugh,
it's clear the concept, being each group under the same table. But, can I invert the two rows?

Thank you for your reply.
Bye,
Rob

The tutorial is fabrik2. In fabrik2 you must create the "group header" by yourself with the group template.

Fabrik3 creates a "group header" automatically (below the table headers), including the "group by" element, the number of grouped records and a button (small triangle) to close/open this group.
With the group template you can modify this group header.

I think if you want to switch group heading and table heading you have to create a custom list template: copy the default (or the one you are using), in default.php modify around line 50 (first display groupheading, then headingstmpl)

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
