Table view Catchable fatal error after upgrade

Hello,
I am migrating my joomla 2.5 to 3.8. Managed everything and upgraded Fabrik to 3.8.1. Some elements and one form refuse to upgrade, but that is not the point (I guess, anyway, I will list them):
1. Fabrik element captcha 3.0.6.3
2. Fabrik element thumbs 3.0.6.3
3. Fabrik element timestamp 3.0.6.3
4. Fabrik form juser 3.0.6.3
Main problem is however that if I want to view data of any table, this is what I get:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /components/com_fabrik/views/list/tmpl/admin/default_buttons.php on line 36

You can't just "upgrade" Fabrik, it's a migration.

Especially you can't use old list and form templates, nor Fabrik nor custom ones. Delete or move the old template folders like e.g. "admin".

The plugins you mention are not part of the core Fabrik (3.8.1 package), you must download and install separatly.
After the installation of a recent version all (also none core plugins) will update via Joomla updater.
