Tabs Pagination hide buttons and change tab heading

I have a form with tabs, there are 2 ways I'd like to change the appearance.

Based on the value of an element in the parent tab I would like to change the label for the tab headings for the other tabs.

I would also like to hide the record selector buttons eg start prev next end. I assume I do this with css but I don't know the element name.

If someone could point me in a direction where I can learn i'd be really appreciative.

Copy the bootstrap_tab template for starting your custom template and adapt.

Not sure what you mean with "record selector buttons".
For any CSS use your browser console to examine CSS classes, element names etc.

I found the setting for the record selector buttons to be 'allow scrolling between records'

How do I find element names with the browser console?
