• New Commercial Services Section

We have now opened a commercial services section here on the forum. If you have a Fabrik project that you wish to have someone work on for you, post it under Help Wanted. If you are an application developer and wish to earn some money helping others, post your details under Fabrik Application Developers.

Both of these are unmoderated. It will be up to both parties to work out the details and come to an agreement.

Total Element

It works Nicely in the form, but I noticed the element value is not being stored in the table. Do I need to use a calc element or something to keep value? It does show in the list, but it is empty.
I added the element after I had entered in 500 records or so... Is there a way I can sum up child records in repeat group programmatically?

Also would be nice to format the element in the form... it is rather long.

It's stored in the table (I assume you didn't set "Store to database"=no).
But (like any other element, especially like the calc element) it's only stored when you are saving the record. So if you don't want to open and resave any existing record you must fill the value via phpMyAdmin or running a scheduled task once.

What do you mean with format, what did you set for "Rounding"?

Yes It was set to save to the database It is saving values.

Thank you! I better get to Clicking and Saving...

The width of field... like in Text Element you can do Mini, Small, Medium, etc.)

In your repeat group settings go to Layout tab and set "Show in form/details" to no. And for list, just disable repeat group elements from showing in list, if that is what you mean.
On the same list and form... Is it possible to list only the Parent Group Values without the repeating Group?
